We went to proctor and they said I needed to go to transmission shop. They said go to we ve have national transmission but they had it for four weeks and it still came back broken so it’s gotta go back in….

Highly recommend. This is my second car that National has repaired, this being a stick shift that needed a new hydraulic system. They are honest, straightforward & amazing at getting your car/truck back to you as quickly as possible. I trust them with my business. Two thumbs up!

These guys are crooks. Especially Gary or Jerry, who likes to be lazy and complacent when giving a estimate for repairs. You would think as long as they’ve been ripping people off since 1957, that they would be able to ask a few questions, check the fluid, and would be able to know whether or not the transmission can be rebuilt. But this is their “estimate” . The average rebuild cost is $4900-$5300 plus tax. I said ok even though its a bit high by ase standards. Then after pulling the transmission out he was hit by some kind epiphany that “ well the transmission can’t be rebuilt and now its gonna cost close to $7k. And since his over 50+ years in business he would have no foresight or intuition that was a high probability outcome. But since it took dropping to figure that out the $167 diagnostic fee has mutated into overgrown malignant mass of incompetence totaling almost $800.
